Friday at the Flats Application

Event Overview:

Kick off the summer at Celery Flats! You are invited to Friday at the Flats: Block Party. Enjoy fun-filled evenings with FREE, LIVE, LOCAL music and great dinner options from local food trucks and vendors.

This community gathering encourages you to connect with your local community through food and activities while browsing local  businesses and art booths at Celery Flats. Bring a blanket or chair for lawn seating.

Thank you for taking the time to fill out the Friday at the Flats Application with The City of Portage Parks & Recreation.

Once you submit your application, it will go to the Parks & Recreation department for review. 

The primary form of communication we use is email. Please make sure to check your SPAM if you do not hear from us within 30 days of application.

I understand that for any given event, there are a limited number of spaces available per category, and all applications are subject to approval. Portage Parks & Recreation staff will reach out to you to confirm which, if any, events we're able to schedule you for.

The Portage Cultural Arts Committee is a subcommittee of the Portage Park Board and was formed to assist in expanding the arts in Portage. Members of the committee contribute to public art concept reviews and participate in art exhibitions, events, workshops, and festivals, as well as collaborate with other area artists.
