Fall Festival Bizarre Bazaar Application

Event Overview:

Time for pumpkin spice and everything nice at Portage’s annual Fall Fest! Explore the historical side of Celery Flats by touring the recently reopened Hayloft Theatre.

Enjoy fall-flavored refreshments, a magician of mystery, LIVE music, tractor rides, a petting zoo, and an antique tractor show. Shop until you drop at the Bizarre Bazaar, where you will find unique wares for sale, fall-themed and handmade items.

While you browse, enjoy live music from the Bourbon Brothers and Dogpatch Lullaby. Experience LIVE historical demonstrations like pottery, fiber spinning, blacksmithing, rope making, and more.

Fall Festival will be at Celery Flats on Saturday September 19 from 10am to 1pm. This is an outdoor market in rain or shine.

Once you submit your application, it will go to the Parks & Recreation department for review.

The primary form of communication we use is email. Please note that applications will not start to be processed until July for this event. We encourage you to submit your application now.

Fall Fest is a themed event that focuses on taking a step back in time with historical demonstrations and on all thing fall. The fall fest boutique market must match that theme as well. We will only approve vendors that sell items historically made or are fall themed.

The Portage Cultural Arts Committee is a subcommittee of the Portage Park Board and was formed to assist in expanding the arts in Portage. Members of the committee contribute to public art concept reviews and participate in art exhibitions, events, workshops, and festivals, as well as collaborate with other area artists.
